Martin Hauser
Biographie :

In 1988, Martin Hauser, alongside Detlev von Breitenstein, founded BMHAVOCATS.

His force: combining the excellence of his legal training as a generalist in international business and intellectual property law with his expertise in implementing alternative solutions for the prevention and resolution of conflicts, and this, most often, in transnational contexts.

Foreseeing the growing role of tools for alternative resolution, passionate about psychology, communication and multicultural relations, Martin Hauser became interested in arbitration and, later, mediation and interest-based negotiation. Today he is recognized as an expert on the subject, and he is regularly solicited for large-scale international cases in which he puts into practice his knowledge of cross-cultural environments and his qualities for empathy and analysis. He advises his French and international clients on complex commercial projects, often involving intellectual property rights, and he assists them in the resolution of their disputes in France or internationally through negotiation, mediation, arbitration or before national courts. Martin Hauser acts as Mediator and Arbitrator in mediation and arbitration conducted under the auspices of the ICC and the CMAP in Paris as well as the WIPO in Geneva.

His recent publication on compared mediation practices in France and Germany: “La médiation commerciale en France et en Allemagne en comparaison – Concepts, finalités, fondamentaux, aspects interculturels, divergences” (Comparison of commercial mediation in France and Germany – concepts, aims, fundamentals, cross-cultural aspects, divergences) appeared in French and German in January 2016.
